Here are just a few facts about us:

* Support over 350 individuals.

* Employ over 225 individuals, both full and part-time.

* Total operating budget in excess of $10 million; approximately 80% of this budget comes from the Ministry of Community and Social Services.

* A 12 member Board of Directors oversees program and fiscal responsibility. The Board is made up of parent/related representation, community members, and self-advocates.

* We provide 24 hour Residential Support for over 50 adults at 10 residential homes located throughout Brantford, Paris, Burford, and Harley.  Some of the homes are designed barrier-free.

* Respite care supports over 60 individuals.

* Community Supports provide service to more than 100 adults living in the community through the Supported Living program.

* We support over 80 individuals in our Young Adults in Transition program.  Literacy is one of the many components offered!


* The Associate Family Program supports 13 individuals in approved homes.

* We operate a Supported Employment Program.

* We offer family networking meetings/workshops.

* The Residential Services and the Supported Living Services provide supports to adults in areas such as: finances, living skills, and life skills, as appropriate to individual age and need.

* Our day support programs (Vocational Services) at the Dunn Building serves over 100 individuals. We also offer a workplace literacy program as one component.

* We operate a Community Activity Program out of the Stedman Building for over 40 individuals.

* We administer the Ontario Early Years Centre Brant.

* We offer student placements to local colleges and high schools.
