CIRCLE OF FRIENDS GOLF TOURNAMENT

Location: Northridge Golf Course
Date: Thursday, August 19, 2010
Why: Leaving school and starting life as an independent adult is challenging at the best of times, but for young adults with a development challenge, it presents some unique hurdles. Funds raised at this tournament are dedicated to the agency’s Young Adults in Transition Program - an area which receives only base funding, but which is an invaluable support to the community.
Who: All Tiger Woods wannabes and anyone who just likes to golf. The course is golfer-friendly, the food is great and the company is better.
What: The day includes 18 holes of golf, a light lunch, roast beef and chicken dinner, the usual chock full prize table, and some unique items for sale at the silent auction. Prizes for putting, shooting and playing.
