LITERACY

Community Living Brant's Literacy Program is committed to helping people reach their learning goals. These goals are self-directed and assist people to improve the quality of their lives and fully participate in their community.

Did you know that 47% of the people of ontario do not have the necessary skills to read, write or use numbers effectively?

What we offer

  • One to one learning sessions for money skills, budgeting and reading.
  • Small classes such as G1 License Preparation, Banking and Digital Photography.
  • Computer classes include Social Networking for Facebook, Email and Internet Safety.
  • Technology includes Merlin CCTV, Zoom Text, Kurzweil 3000, TouchSmart Computer, Work Q, WiVik, Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 and Boardmaker.
  • Assistance with resumes and filling out forms.
  • Alpharoute Provider.
