W. Leo McMahon Memorial Scholarship Award
Community Living Brant is pleased to announce the availability of a Scholarship to be awarded
to a student who is pursuing an area of study that would benefit individuals supported by the
Agency or similar community service. Community Living Brant is a non-profit organization which
provides supports and services to developmentally challenged adults in Brantford and Brant
County. The award is named in recognition of a past Executive Director, Leo McMahon. It is
funded through funds raised at the agency’s Annual Circle of Friends Golf Tournament.
Value - $1,000.00
Eligibility - Eligibility is limited to students graduating from a Brant County Secondary
School and receiving admission to one of the following areas of study:
• Developmental Service Worker
• Social Service Worker
• Bachelor of Arts
• Psychology
• Social Science
Selection - The Selection Committee will review the applications received and will
make a decision by early June. If possible, the Scholarship will be
presented to the recipient at the dinner of the Annual Golf Tournament on
August 21, 2008.
