Dunn Enterprises, which operates out of the Dunn Building,
provides vocational options to over 115 individuals. Sub-contract
work (hand and machine) is completed for local industry, generally
in the areas of : assembly, packaging, collating, and quality
assurance.
Once skills are learned, the aim is for individuals to transfer
these skills to obtain competitive employment within the community.
Dunn Enterprises also offers a Workplace Literacy Program
for individuals. This is a computer-based system for those
who wish to participate.
Work has been completed for the following companies : AL 21Sports;
Ascoelectric; Canadian Bluebird; Collier ( Systems Design
and Manufacturing) ; Germiphene; Hayden Industries; H.D. Brown;
Sawmill & Associates; Slacan.
